If you’re based in the UK and can get to The Yorkshire Air Museum on Satruday 17th October, there’s a chance to get up close and do some night shooting for the aircraft. Plus, we’ll be there with a mountain of powerful Elinchrom lighting kit from The Flash Centre to light up the pretty Mirage delta winged fighter they have there. I used the Mirage as a backdrop a couple of years ago, but this time, she’s the main feature.

If you have your own camera gear, you’ll be able to mount the Elinchrom Skyport on your hotshoe and trigger the lighting yourself. Not only that, we’ve blagged a Canon 5D Mk2 and a brand new Canon 7D for you to play with. You can book a place on the air museum website or give them a call direct. Hoping to shoot some cool time lapse video too, if the test with the intervalometer works later today!
