There’s a whole lot of new features in the new Panasonic Lumix GH4 HDSLR. The headline figure of course is it’s ability to shoot 4K cinematic footage. But there’s a whole lot more in this First Look video by the guys at Zacuto. Take a look at this fifteen minute walk through of this camera, with incredibly powerful processing, small form factor and new professional standard lenses. Features include a 16.05-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor, image processor capable of capturing high-resolution JPEG and RAW stills, cinematic DCI 4K 4096×2160 video at 24p, a micro four thirds image sensor & lens mount & more.
It’s going to be really interesting when this camera is out in the wild, with the Micro Four Thirds lens system, compatability with your legacy gear and 4K footage, it’s going to take small form, lightweight film making to a new level.
